Officials confirm that Lt. General Kruse, the head of the Pentagon's intelligence agency, has been removed. He is the latest senior military official to have been fired since U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth took over the Pentagon.

Hegseth also fired the chief of U.S. Naval reserves and the commander of Naval Special Warfare Command.
