Maybe the craziest part of Trump's "reciprocal" tariffs is they tend to get HIGHER as countries' tariffs on US exports get LOWER. (Eg, Switzerland got 39% even though its tariffs average 0.2%). So, we're punishing countries for being open to US goods. Make it make sense.
